Description:
IZWTAG was founded in 2019 with the aim of assisting First Nations to implement zero waste programs. IZWTAG continues to develop its training opportunities and raises awareness about recycling programs for First Nations. IZWTAG is an Indigenous led non-profit society for First Nations. IZWTAG is dedicated to environmentally-responsible waste management, providing technical support, resources, training and services as well as advancing zero waste education and best practices. IZWTAG works using partnerships for mutual benefit, peer learning and support as well as innovation and problem-solving. |
